Houston Astros Hats, Jersey, Shirts

The 2013 Houston Astros baseball team is in rebuild mode. Not expecting to compete in 2012 the Astros hope to see some young talent step up and shock the baseball world. The Astros signed veteran Carlos Pena to help give this young team some much needed experience. Young players that could step up are names such as Brett Wallace, Delino DeShields Jr., Matt Dominguez, Jason Castro, Jonathan Villar just to name a few. The 2012 Astros finished up 55-107 overall and hope to build on that record for the 2013 baseball season.

Houston has moved from the tough NL Central to the just as tough AL West. The Astros remain deep in a rebuilding phase following an ownership change, with questions all over the field apart from second base. And now they need a DH, too. The only big change is that interleague play will now come every day, thanks to there now being the same number of teams in each league. The Astros will find a familiar place at the bottom of their new division for now.
